Station 15
Castle Beach Fire Department Station 15 was established in July 2019 to aid with response times in the airport terminal and the immediate area. Previously, Station 10 used to handle all these calls, but since they are located some distance from high-hazard areas, Castle Beach Fire Dept opted to add an additional station at the opposite side of the airport to decrease response times.
Engine 15, RA 15, and ALS 15 are housed at Station 15.

Engine 15
Castle Beach Fire Department Engine 15 is a unique apparatus in the department as it is one of two quintuple combinations that the department operates (other is E10). The reason that a full ladder was chosen over an elevated master stream was to provide maximum exposure protection for their district which includes the main terminal for CBX, multiple high-rise hotels, and a variety of warehouses. Engine 15 will also be first due to the multiple interstates that converge near CBX, adding to the workload that Station 15 sees on a regular basis.
